Order Pick-Up (Updated)
As of December 1, most of the wreaths are ready to be picked up. (The 18" wreaths and some of the 12" wreaths are not yet ready.) Please pick them up and deliver them ASAP, no later than Sunday. December 2: there is another delay for the 18" and 36" wreaths. They should arrive Saturday morning.
Wreath Delay
Because of the unusually warm weather, the wreath delivery is delayed this year. The branches cannot be cut and made into wreaths until there is a hard frost, or else the wreaths will fall apart within days. We normally get the wreaths the day before Thanksgiving and deliver them the following weekend, but this year we are running about a week late. All our wreaths should be delivered by Sunday, December 4.
For the 2011 Wreath Sale, we will use the same system as last year for entering order on the troop's web site. All your orders from last year have been saved, and you will not have to re-type them.
You can use the attached form to take your orders and then enter the info online thru the website.
Please give us your orders at least once a week. ALL orders are DUE on November 14th.
Web Version
First, log in to the web site using your personal password. (Do not log in as member185.) Your user name is your e-mail address. You should have received an e-mail with login instructions. If you have lost the e-mail or forgotten your password, use the "Request new password" link: http://troop185wellesley.org/user/password . If you have questions, or are not sure which e-mail address to use, ask Mr. Fisher: webmaster@troop185wellesley.org .
Enter the orders on the web page http://troop185wellesley.org/wreathsale/orders.php . (There is a link on the troop's home page.) The page will show the orders you have already entered for this year. If you need to change an order, use the "Edit" link next to the order. To see last year's orders, enter "2010" in the text box and click the "Show Me!" button. Then you can copy last year's order to the order form with the "Copy" link.
Electronic Version
Open the attachment and save it as “Your Name - Wreath Orders”. If you need more than one page, just save the additional pages as “Your Name - Wreath Orders page 2” etc.
Print out a copy to take your orders and then enter them into the computer. It will check your math. The page is protected, so you can’t do anything but enter info in to the name, address, quantity sold, and paid lines.

Paper Version
If you don’t have excel and do not want to use the web, then you can use the paper forms handed out at the Troop meeting on October 17th. Each week, give a copy to Mr. Luby at the Troop meeting. Keep a copy for yourself.
Just a few reminders:
The wreath size and diameter are both listed on the form. The size is the center of the wreath and the diameter is approximately the TOTAL WIDTH of the wreath. So if you need a wreath that is 24” across, order a 14” or 16” wreath.
The wreaths are made of Balsam Fir. They are made in Canada & Maine.
You should be collecting the money when you sell – then you can just deliver the wreaths when they arrive. Have checks made payable to: Boy Scout Troop 185
Contact last year’s customers, new neighbors & those houses that you saw wreaths on every door last year!
New this Year!
In addition to the commission that you earn for your sales (20% on all sales beyond $100 – this means you earn 20 cents on every dollar you sell starting with the $101st Example – you sell $200 of wreaths you earn $20 in commission; you sell $500 – you earn $80), this year we are also going to have weekly prizes for whoever turns in the most sales each week. So start selling, and bring your orders in weekly.
